The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of its 2016 Small Business of the Year Awards (SBOY), recognizing 10 of the region’s leading small business. CTP was among the 10 companies honored, selected from dozens of nominees.
The Chamber’s Small Business of the Year Awards recognize the achievements of Greater Boston’s smaller for-profit companies, with annual gross revenues of more than $1 million. Winners include businesses who display strong financial performance, achievement in management, workplace excellence, product innovation, and community and social responsibility.
All 10 honorees will be recognized at an October 6 event called, “Nailed It: A Conversation with Successful Business Leaders.” The event takes place at District Hall in the South Boston Waterfront. Representatives from each of the Small Business of the Year winners will participate in power-talk panels where they will discuss topics such as taking risks, overcoming obstacles and growing and innovating in their businesses.
